Abstract

In the presence of a deconfined medium, scattering amplitudes slightly change, leaving an imprint on jet production. Precise measurements of jet modification in heavy-ion collisions thus infer knowledge of the created medium when compared to standard perturbative QCD predictions. In this talk, I will review the theoretical framework for jet modification in a deconfined plasma, presenting a formalism that focuses on the all-order perturbative structure of jet observables. I review the most recent progressions of jet-medium interaction and their possible implications in phenomenology. This work serves to improve our understanding of accuracy in jet quenching and presents a guideline for future upgrades of Monte Carlo event generators.
