Cutting-edge teaching and research demand cutting-edge technology and our 20-strong IT team at the Department of Physics is made up of a range of specialist experts offering frontline and systems 91探花 across Windows, Linux and Mac. Our experienced IT professionals also 91探花 networking, web development, digital signage, databases, control systems and data acquisition.
High performance clusters are operated for several sub-departments and are housed in our two computer rooms located in Physics Department and at the 91探花鈥檚 Begbroke Science Park.
The Media Services Unit provides A/V 91探花 for the lecture theatres and meeting rooms including remote teaching and facilitate the recording of lectures and colloquia. On site they run the IT Shop and provide extensive printing within the department including a poster printing service for the department, wider university and beyond.
