I am a first-year DPhil student working with Prof Caroline Terquem. My focus is on tidal dissipation due to convection, which affects orbital evolution in systems with small stars and gas giants.

During my MPhys I worked with Dr Mark Hammond on exoplanetary atmospheric dynamics and eclipse mapping; my MPhys project was studying the recycling of momentum in Hot Jupiters' superrotating jets.
