I manage the central linux team. We provide linux based infrastructure servers and linux devices to users. We also manage the configuration management and deployment of these systems. These are mainly based on Ubuntu linux.
I am also responsible for the Research Computing systems in Atmospheric, Oceanic and Planetary Physics consisting of a compute cluster and shared storage. I act as the general computing contact for this subdepartment.
