My favourite Mountain thus far: Suilven

When not doing physics I tend to go places where there are no people and no internet...

Research

I spent most of my time working on the upgrade of the ATLAS experiment at CERN, in particular it strip tracker subsystem. When not doing that, I try to get involved with future detector work for e+e- collider detectors, with particular focus on active CMOS sensors for future tracking systems.  As a hobby I work on a system that uses x-ray fluorescence to (hopefully) make hidden ancient writings readable.

Research interests

Particle Physics
Semiconductor Detectors
Monolithic Active Pixel Sensors
X-ray Fluorescence
