About me

As member of the ion trap quantum computing group I am working on applications of high-fidelity, high-speed remote entanglement between trapped ion qubits to fundamental quantum information processing, communication and metrology. This project allows me to apply my strengths and interests in electronics design, software development, FPGA programming, computational physics and data analysis, inter alia.

Besides research, I like to stay active through running, playing tennis and golf, participating at triathlon and marathon events, or mountain-biking and skiing at home in Austria. I play the violin and have been member of different ensembles and orchestras.
