Non-stationary squeezing in a parametric amplifier

Optics Communications 71:1-2 (1989) 107-112

Abstract:

The transient response of a parametric amplifier to a time-dependent classical pump is described using Langevin equation techniques. We consider the generation of squeezed light under the influence of the nonstationary pump excitation and its propagation out of the parametric amplifier cavity. This models the time dependent noise suppression on a time-dependent optical signal rather than the simpler continuous excitation normally considered. 漏 1989.
