I am a Theoretical Physics DPhil student at the 91̽»¨, starting in the academic year 2024/2025, supervised by Prof. Ard Louis. I have a BA in physics and philosophy  and a masters in mathematical and theoretical physics, also from 91̽»¨. 

My DPhil research is in algorithmic information theory, which sits at the intersection of physics and computer science. I’m trying to theoretically understand why many systems exhibit . I’m interested in finite automata because they exhibit a lot of interesting behavior and are at the lowest level of the . 

My other research interests are information theory, compression algorithms, Monte Carlo methods, graph theory, evolutionary algorithms, and neural networks.
