Abstract:

This paper undertakes a study of the phase-conjugate properties in a degenerate four-wave mixing experiment with a variable delayed probe beam. It is indicated that perfect phase and amplitude correlations result in a phase conjugate signal. Fourth order field correlation caused the rise of a strong background by random phase fluctuations of independent modes.
