Abstract:

We have determined the average lifetime of hadrons containing b quarks produced in e+e- annihilation to be 蟿B = 1.83 +0.83 +0.37 - -0.34脳10-12s. Our method uses charged decay products from both non-leptonic and semileptonic decay modes. 漏 1984.

Abstract:

The reaction e+e-鈫抏+e-畏鈥(9 58) has been observed by detecting the final state 蟺+蟺-纬. The two-photon width of the 畏鈥 has been measured to be 螕(畏鈥测啋纬纬) = 5.1卤0.4卤0.7 keV. A search for the 喂(1440) has been made in the 蟻{variant}0纬 final state. An upper limit has been obtained for the product 螕(喂(1440) 鈫 纬)gg), B (喂鈫捪亄variant}0纬) < 1.5 keV (95%CL). 漏 1984.

Abstract:

The production of electrons by bottom and charm hadrons has been studied in e+e- annihilation at 34.6 GeV center of mass energy. It is observed that the b quark fragmentation function is peaked at large values of the scaling variable z with 銆坺b銆 = 0.84+0.15 + 0.15-0.10 - 0.11. For c quarks 銆坺c銆 = 0.57+0.10 + 0.05-0.09 - 0.06 is observed. A forward-backward charge asymmetry of A = -0.25 卤 0.22 was measured in b production. 漏 1984.

Abstract:

The cross section for the process e+e-鈫捨澄 has been measured for c.m. energies 39.5+>61 GeV and 螞+> GeV (95% confidence level) have been determined. A search for two photon final states with missing energy provided lower limits on the masses of the photino and selectron. 漏 1984 Springer-Verlag.

Abstract:

Production of the pp蟺+蟺- final state by two-photon scattering was observed. The cross section for 纬纬鈫抪p蟺+蟺- was determined assuming phase space production. No evidence was found for the production or formation of resonances. Upper limits are given for 螞 and 螖 pair production, for production of pp蟻{variant}0 and for the two-photon excitation of cc bound states. 漏 1984.
