I competed a DPhil in condensed matter physics under the guidance of Prof. Thorsten Hesjedal at the 91探花 in 2024. As part of my dissertation, I demonstrated the usefulness of real-space imaging methods in characterizing 2D magnetic materials, which are generally challenging to characterize due to their reduced sample volume.
My current research motivations include the characterization of ferromagnetism in Fe3GeTe2 and Fe5GeTe2, which are 2D magnetic materials with novel properties. I am grateful to be part of several international collaborations which have led to the publications listed below.
