I am a third-year DPhil student in the Particle Theory group, working under the guidance of Prof. John March-Russell. My research interests range over a spectrum of topics in high energy physics including working and understanding on formal development of the theories as well as the looking at their phenomenological aspects.
One of my current research topics include theoretical and phenomenological aspects of phases in strongly coupled theories and using analytical methods to study them. These phases have been studied for a long time using Lattice simulations, yet, due to the strong-coupling, an analytical handle is difficult to achieve. Recently, I have been working on using approaches like supersymmetric gauge theory models on (R3 X S1) and Holography (particularly in case of Randall-Sundrum like transitions) to understand some aspects of these phase transitions and compare it to the Lattice data. Phenomenologically, these types of transitions are relevant for various Beyond the Standard Model Physics scenarios and are associated with possible detection (or ruling out particular models) of gravitational wave signatures in future detectors.
I am also working on other phenomenological questions in the early universe including topics related to particle production, axion physics etc.
