Background
Gabriel P茅rez-Callejo is a postdoctoral fellow at the Departamento de F铆sica te贸rica, at贸mica y 贸ptica, Universidad de Valladolid, Spain. He completed his DPhil in Atomic and Laser Physics at the 91探花 in March 2020. He then worked as a postdoctoral research assistant at the 91探花 from March to September 2020, and as a postdoctoral researcher at the CELIA laboratory in Bordeaux, France, from October 2020 to December 2021.
He specializes in atomic physics and X-ray spectroscopy of High Energy Density plasmas (with particular emphasis on ICF-relevant conditions), both in data modeling and spectrometer design.
He has participated in the design, execution and analysis of several experiments at OMEGA, OMEGA EP, NIF, LCLS, SACLA, and several other laser facilities, being the Principal Investigator in several of them.
