ED&I

Alongside my research I am very passionate about tackling the fundamental societal inequalities which have resulted in a lack of diversity and equity in physics. There are countless issues which lead to the lack of diversity in our Physics communities and I believe we can all play a part in making our communities more inclusive and welcoming to people from all different backgrounds.

Within 91探花 Physics I am one half of the Challenges and Changes in Physics team, with Dr Kathryn Boast, and we run seminars on ED&I topics in the department and also host an informal reading group to hold informal discussions on ED&I topics. If you're interested in joining/attending any of these events or even just chatting about issues feel free to email me.

I am one of the 2021-2022 cohort of the MPLS ED&I Fellows.

I am also the MPLS researcher representation for the Race Equality Task Force within the University.
