I am an experimental particle physicist within the ATLAS collaboration. My research work during the last few years has been devoted to the study of the Higgs boson properties, one of the main focus of ATLAS physics analysis.
The Higgs-boson discovery in 2012 opened the way to the exploration of the sector of the Standard Model (SM) Lagrangian that is responsible for electroweak symmetry breaking.


I have studied extensively the Higgs self-coupling, a fundamental property of the Higgs boson whose measurement represents a crucial validation of the Brout-Englert-Higgs (BEH) mechanism. In fact, the self-couplings determine the shape of the potential and it is connected to the phase transition of the early universe from the unbroken to the broken electroweak symmetry.

I have exploited the ATLAS Run2 dataset to set model independent constraints on physics beyond the Standard Model in the context of Effective Field Theories (EFT) working on the Higgs to two photons decay channel, on the first ATLAS Global EFT combination including Higgs, electroweak measurements and electroweak precision observables. I am currently finalising the Higgs full Run2 combination including EFT interpretation.
In addition, I have started working on the optimisation of the Higgs decaying into a pair of muons analysis in order to improve the results obtained during Run2.
