I am a DPhil Candidate in the CMP sub-department. My research is in the field of magnonics, the study of waves and magnetism. In particular, I have an interest in using magnons, quantized spin waves, to build novel computing devices.

My research is funded by an EPSRC Industrial CASE studentship partnered with Methode Electronics. I have carried out research in magnetoelastic torque sensors for my industrial sponsor.

Research interests

Magnonic computing
Antiferromagnetic magnonics
Spin wave optics
Magnon Bose-Einstein condensation
Novel Renewable Energy solutions
