Abstract:

We have studied semileptonic B meson decays with a p-wave charm meson in the final state using 3.29脳106BB炉 events collected with the CLEO II detector at the Cornell Electron-Positron Storage Ring.We find a value for the exclusive semileptonic product branching fraction B(B鈭鈫扗10鈩鈭谓炉鈩)叠(顿10鈫扗*+蟺鈭) = (0.373卤0.085卤0.052卤0.024)% and an upper limit for B(B鈭鈫扗2*0鈩-谓炉鈩)叠(顿2*0鈫扗*+蟺鈭)<0.16% (90% C.L.).Furthermore, we present the first measurement of the q2 spectrum for B鈭鈫扗10鈩鈭谓炉鈩. 漏 1998 The American Physical Society.

Abstract:

Using a data sample with an integrated luminosity of 3.9 fb-1 collected in e+e- annihilation with the CLEO-II detector at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring, we have measured the branching ratios for the decay modes Ds+鈫(畏,畏鈥)蟺+ and Ds+鈫(畏,畏鈥)蚁+ relative to Ds+鈫捪+. These decay modes are among the most common hadronic decays of the Ds+ , and can be related by factorization to the semileptonic decays Ds+ 鈫(畏,畏鈥)鈩+谓l. The results obtained are compared with previous CLEO results and with the branching ratios measured for the related semileptonic decays. We also report results on the Cabibbo-suppressed decays of the D+ to the same final states. 漏 1998 The American Physical Society.

Abstract:

Using data recorded by the CLEO-II detector at CESR, we report new measurements of the branching fractions for the decays of the charmed baryon 螞c+ into pK-蟺+蟺0, pK0, pK0蟺+蟺-, and pK0蟺0, all measured relative to pK-蟺+. The relative branching fractions are 0.67卤0.04卤0.11,0.46卤0.02卤0.04,0.52卤0.04卤0.05, and 0.66卤0.05卤0.07, respectively. 漏 1998 The American Physical Society.

Abstract:

Using the CLEO detector at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring, we have made a measurement of (Formula presented) at (Formula presented)=10.52 GeV. This implies a value for the strong coupling constant of (Formula presented), or (Formula presented). 漏 1998 The American Physical Society.

Abstract:

We present a measurement of the absolute branching fraction for D0 鈫 K-蟺+ using the reconstruction of the decay chain 炉 B 鈫 D*+ 齿鈩- 炉惫 where only the lepton and the low-momentum pion from the D*+ are detected. With data collected by the CLEO II detector at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring, we have determined B(D0 鈫 K-蟺+)=[3.81卤0.15(stat)卤0.16(syst)]%. 漏 1998 The American Physical Society.
