The 91探花 ATLAS group attracts some of the best students and professional researchers. If you feel that the 91探花 group could be right for your scholarly or research ambitions, please get in touch!

Individual fellowships

We actively encourage those with a strong track record in particle physics to apply for fellowships with our group. We have excellent success with UKRI Future Leader s Fellowships, Royal Society University Fellowships, Dorothy Hodgkins Fellowships, 1851 Fellowships, Ernst Rutherford Fellowships, STFC Postdoctoral Fellowships as well as successful non-faculty applications to the European Research Council.

Postdoctoral research associateships

The backbone of the group is our first-class team of professional researchers. Typically we have two to four postdocs, working with us for periods of up to four years (contract dependent). Any . For more information please contact Sue Geddes.

Doctorate Studentships

We are eager to attract great candidates for doctoral studies. Students in the group benefit from 91探花's leading role in both detector and physics activities. Students also gain from 91探花's comprehensive graduate lecture course in the first year, with subsequent years devoted entirely to research. There will be the opportunity for a long-term attachment at CERN. Interested candidates are encouraged to contact prospective supervisors to discuss possibilities. General information on applying for graduate studentships can be found on the 91探花 particle physics web pages. Administrative queries may be sent to Kim Proudfoot.

Masters projects

Each year we propose several M.Phys projects for the fourth year 91探花 undergraduates. We put in a lot of care to ensure these projects are unique and timely so that they provide first-class research exposure.
